During a DUI arrest in Northern California, police discovered more than 70 empty Bud Light cans in a vehicle.

According to a social media post, Cotati Police Department officers stopped a car on Sunday after spotting a motorist who was having trouble staying in a traffic lane.

Authorities said that in addition to the driver’s open alcohol container in the cup holder, they also discovered more than 70 empty beer cans inside the car.

The driver’s blood alcohol level was later found to be 0.25% higher than three times the legal limit by authorities.

According to police, the motorist was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and operating a car with a suspended license as a result of a prior DUI. The identity of the driver was kept a secret.

The police department posted on social media to remind everyone that it is not worth it to drive after drinking. If our cops hadn’t stopped the motorist, the situation might have turned out considerably worse.
