The Texas Hold Em singer’s fellow Emmy winner, designer Shiona Turini, shared her thoughts on her experience working on the show’s attire after the Christmas Day special.
Turini remarked in a December Instagram post, “I will always be thankful to have been a part of this iconic performance, this historic moment, and this incredible team.”
In another post, she said, “A visual love letter + a reclamation of space.” Over 400 meticulously chosen costumes, including those of cowboys, cheerleaders, dancers, drivers, the Blackbirds, and bands, were seen by 27 million spectators and counting. We succeeded.
I’m really appreciative of the group that helped me along the way, Turini added. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who helped make this possible.
