Elon Musk, the billionaire who owns SpaceX, Tesla, and X, says he intends to sue Apple for failing to list X and its Grokart artificial intelligence chatbot app among its top Picks in the App Store.
“Hey @Apple App Store, why do you refuse to put either X or Grok in your Must Have section when X is the #1 news app in the world and Grok is #5 among all apps?” Musk wrote in his comments on X late Monday. Musk’s artificial intelligence business, xAI, owns Grok.
Musk continued by claiming that Apple is acting in a way that clearly violates antitrust laws by preventing any AI firm other than OpenAI from ranking #1 in the App Store. xAI will file a lawsuit right away.
