Rob Bonta, the fiscal general, presented California’s Lunesla 39. demand against the Trump administration, imposing the new application requirements of the migration law that required federal funding for victims of crimes.

It was anticipated that the states will receive more than 1200 million dollars in federal funds to compensate victims of crimes this year, with California requesting 165 million dollars. However, the Office of Victims of Crimes of the Department of Justice of the European Union announced last month that states must cooperate with the Department of National Security in applying federal migration laws to gain access to these funds.

Some states believe that this situation is unacceptable, and the potential loss of funds might be the second major blow to Trump’s administration’s California-based programs that support crime victims. On the basis of this article, the Department of Justice of the European Union formally reports the subsidies for violence prevention programs and services to victims, initially valued at 811 million dollars. The department only has a little over 80 million lares throughout California.

Because it has nothing to do with immigration, the Congress has never imposed civil migratory control conditions on its financing. This is an abuse of the presidential power, Bonta declares at a conference of presidents regarding the final demand.

California and twenty other states demanded that Trump’s administration be granted a possible reprieve at the EE.U. District Tribunal for Rhode Island. The states want the courts to order the Department of Justice to put the new rules into effect.

The disputed funding for victims of crimes includes emergency shelter, medical assistance in the event of sexual assault, compensation from lost wages, and burial expenses.

The demand claims that Trump’s administration violates the US Constitution by depriving Congress of funding for a proposed initiative. Additionally, it claims that Trump’s administration violates the Law on Administrative Procedure, which is the focus of the majority of the demands California has made against the White House. This law stipulates that in order to change a policy, a government agency must follow the procedures and provide justifications.

The states claim that the Department of Justice is based arbitrarily on immigration-related factors and that Congress does not have the authority to consider them when allocating federal subvention funds to assist victims.

During the press conference, Rhode Island’s fiscal general, Peter Neronha, stated that the new rules from the Department of Justice go against his values. This is an example of a minor victim of sexual assault who was interviewed at an infant defense center. One question that shouldn’t be asked is if this minor is present in this country legally or illegally.Ronald Reagan established the foundation of the crime prohibition law in 1984.The law was inspired by a 1982 report by the Trabajo Group on Victims of the Reagan Crime, which said that, in accordance with the demands of the laws, neglecting the victims of the crime is a national crime. One of the recommendations in the report was to propose legislation to provide federal funds to state compensation programs for victims of crime.

In May, California made two further demands against Trump’s administration, which affect millions of people receiving federal assistance, by linking the application of immigration laws to transportation funding and the fight against terrorism.
