According to a report submitted to law enforcement last month, a beauty pageant winner has accused U.S. Representative Cory Mills, a Republican from central Florida, of threatening to reveal private photos and personal films of her after she broke their love engagement.
The lady initially made the accusations in a July 14 report submitted to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office in north Florida, which Mills refuted on Wednesday.

According to a statement from Mills, these assertions are untrue and inaccurately describe the character of my conversations. In my personal life and while serving Florida’s 7th District, I have always acted honorably.
In an email, Sgt. Steven Khachigan, a spokesman for the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, stated that the information was sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which is currently investigating the situation.

There are no charges pending. On Wednesday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement stated that it has no comment regarding any ongoing investigations or inquiries.
Mills claimed in his statement that Lake County commissioner Anthony Sabatini, a former rival who faced him in a 2022 GOP primary for the House seat, was behind the accusations.
According to Mills, Anthony Sabatini is using his corporate legal office to promote a narrative based on false information and faulty legal arguments in an attempt to make political news by using the legal system as a weapon against the candidate who defeated him in the primary.

Mills said he would not elaborate.
I will work closely with my staff to make sure the truth is known. In the statement, Mills stated, “I am still committed to serving my constituents and promoting America First policies.”
Despite not answering an email query, Sabatini shared on social media on Wednesday: Mills has to step down.
The 25-year-old lady admitted to investigators from the sheriff’s office that she began seeing Mills in 2021 and that their relationship terminated in February. While the congressman was traveling back and forth from Washington, she shared a house with him in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Mills told her that the divorce was finalized in 2024, even though he was still married at the time of their meeting.
The woman claimed that after hearing about accusations made against Mills by another woman who was referred to be his girlfriend in Washington, she left the house in New Smyrna Beach earlier this year and relocated to Columbia County. She claimed in the sheriff’s office report that the congressman repeatedly phoned her after she left, threatening to publish films of her and Mills performing sex activities as well as nude photos of her.
According to the lady, the lawmaker reportedly threatened to hurt any future males she planned to date.
Mills’ district, which runs from the Orlando region to the Daytona Beach region, was first elected to Congress in 2022.
