just before 12 p.m. on Friday, according to the USS Midway’s Marketing Director David Koontz.

The initial estimated damage caused to the naval aircraft carrier museum located in the San Diego Bay appears to be $100K, according to the museum.

The carrier’s hull was not breached, and there were no reported injuries due to the incident, according to Koontz.

There were also no disruptions to the museum’s operations, and the museum remains open to the public during their normal visitor hours.
