Months after finding them during a police raid, Chilean authorities announced on Tuesday that they had turned over six pricey timepieces that were taken from actor Keanu Reeves, including an inscribed Rolex valued at at least $9,500, to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Reeves, who is most renowned for his parts in action series like The Matrix and John Wick, will be brought back by the FBI. According to Chilean prosecutors, Reeves recognized the timepieces as ones that had been taken from his Los Angeles residence during a series of high-profile break-ins in December 2023.

The declaration came as Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security for the Trump administration, arrived in Chile for talks with Chilean officials on a number of topics, including transnational crime.
Noem’s pocketbook was taken from a restaurant in Washington in April, and she was also the victim of a robbery that was attributed to a Chilean national living illegally in the United States.

According to Marcelo Varas, a police officer from Chile’s robbery investigation unit, Reeves’ six watches are worth a total of $125,000.
When police raided homes and found stolen automobiles, iPhones, luxury watches, and designer purses, they discovered the watches that had been taken from Reeves’ mansion in the Hollywood Hills in Santiago, Chile.
That operation took place at the same time as another Chilean investigation, which was coordinated with the FBI, into a wave of burglaries in the United States by South American criminal organizations that targeted multimillion-dollar homes, many of which belonged to celebrities and professional athletes, including Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs football team.
Chilean police reported in April that 23 persons had been arrested in connection with the spate of break-ins.
Authorities are still looking into any connection between the Reeves watch theft and the other well-publicized break-ins, Varas added.
