Together with four other elderly dogs, the weiners were transported south on July 29 after being taken to a Santa Barbara shelter in June.
The shelter is “currently scheduling their dental surgeries at our onsite veterinary clinic to help them feel their best again,” FFF COO Andrew Sm ek told NBC 7 despite the fact that both L’Oreal and Lancome have tooth diseases.

More Senior Pets to Bring Home
Levi from San Diego County Animal Services
“[Levi] is very easy to leash and walk, food motivated, can be shy at first but will warm up quickly and is affectionate!” Officials at the shelter said. “Levi has been introduced to other dogs, and he will coexist with them but not engage in play.”
Thumbelina: Tragic to Magic
“Thumbelina is a charming 6-year-old with a one-of-a-kind look,” reported her caretaker at Tragic to Magic. “She had a feeding mishap with her mother when she was just two months old, losing her left eye, but she hasn’t let that stop her. She is fiercely intelligent, devoted, and fiercely protective of her people. She is housebroken, leash and crate trained, gets along well with children, and prefers medium-sized to large dogs (no cats). Thumbelina is willing to be someone’s loyal closest friend and is full of love to share.
The Gafe Rancho Coastal Humane Society
“Gafe is a sweet, mellow boy who’s only been in our care for about a week, so we re still getting to know him,” according to NBC 7. He has little trouble forming friendships with our volunteers and staff, and he likes taking long walks. If someone wanted to bring a relaxed senior dog into their house, he would be a perfect fit.
