The principal stated that the management of the school has reminded its employees of the pertinent policies and procedures and that ICE is not permitted to enter the campus without a valid warrant. Atlas directed families to the Equity Division website of the SDUSD, which has a section devoted to disseminating information regarding the rights of the district community.
Atlas said that in the event that students or their families require assistance, resources would be accessible on campus.
At a press conference on Friday morning, the district’s superintendent is anticipated to discuss the event.
