In response to a lawsuit filed earlier this week by his client’s former business partners, Priscilla Presley’s lawyer accused her of accelerating the death of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley in order to seize control of her ex-husband Elvis Presley’s financial inheritance.
The case was described as “a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an eighty-year-old woman” by Priscilla Presley’s lawyer, Marty Singer, in an interview with NBC News.

It is cruel character assassination and should be widely criticized, Singer argued, to accuse a grieving mother of being involved in her daughter’s death. We are certain that this case will be dismissed since these false allegations are completely without merit.
Priscilla Presley’s granddaughter and Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough “stands behind her grandmother 100% and is equally disgusted with this latest, vicious attempt… to ruin her grandmother’s life,” Singer stated.
In a statement to NBC News, Keough’s representatives said her grandmother’s lawyers “say it all.”
On Monday, August 11, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, Priscilla Presley’s former business partners, filed a complaint against her in LA County Superior Court, alleging fraud, breach of contract, and other civil offenses.
In the lawsuit, Kruse and Fialko, the former leaders of Priscilla Presley Partners, claim that they worked with Presley to make the most of her name, image, and likeness.

However, Kruse and Fialko claim that after they helped her financial situation, she abruptly severed her relationship with them and refused them brand opportunities for the film Priscilla and other projects.
In addition, Kruse and Fialko make a shocking claim about Priscilla Presley’s daughter’s 2023 death.
According to an autopsy report acquired by NBC News from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Lisa Marie Presley passed away in Los Angeles on January 12, 2023, from a slight intestinal obstruction.
