On Saturday, Port of San Diego Harbor Police requested assistance from the public in identifying the driver and car that struck a female pedestrian and left her to perish on the roadway.
According to Harbor Police, the collision happened in the 4400 block of North Harbor Drive, close to Laning Road, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday.

The woman died at the site, according to police, despite the fact that the first responding cops started lifesaving procedures. Her name has not been made public yet.
According to authorities, the car that was in the collision might have front-end damage.
